About the photographer

Photographer and founder of IDO Jamie Bott graduated from Plymouth University with a BA Honours Degree in Design Photography in 2001. During this time the Association of Photographers saw fit to award him a prize for the ‘Kodak Student Photographer of the year’. Jamie photographed his first wedding in 2002 and has never looked back.

Jamie likes to work in a contemporary reportage style capturing those special moments from your day in a sensitive and relaxed manner. Always firmly committed to delivering to the highest standards of photography, service and presentation whilst taking the care to be unobtrusive and remain in the background as much as possible. Using this approach Jamie will record those defining moments when the mood and expression is real and genuine. Jamie aims to, and takes great pleasure, in documenting the events that you and your guests do not always see but that collectively make up the story of your day.
